Intern Graphic Designer

Metaversum is looking for a Graphic Designer intern to join our team! You will work closely with and Product and Marketing Managers to develop UI designs, online advertising media, especially flash banners as well as  newsletters and  inworld ads.

Responsibilities

  • Mock up features according to UI spec
  • Manage website updates while maintaining look and feel
  • Coordinate community newsletter, including design and distribution
  • Develop concepts for and design all online advertising materials, including flash banners and inworld ads as needed
  • Maintain and update press picture database
  • Production and editing of Twiniy videos and promotion reels

Requirements

  • First UI experience and excellent graphic design skills
  • Artistic ability and creativity
  • Expert user  in Photoshop and Flash
  • Strong knowledge Wordpress, CSS and HTML
  • Practical experience in video editing
  • Practical experience in the design and creation of graphics on the web
  • Ability to create art assets (e.g. icons) matching existing art styles
  • High media and internet affinity
  • Open minded with a “hands-on” attitude
  • Enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player
  • Fluency in English language, oral and written, is a must; other languages are an advantage

The position is located in Berlin, Germany. It is available as of now for 6 months or longer.
