There’s an exciting list of start-ups in this city and they’re growing more rapidly than elsewhere in Europe. Is this a sign of things to come? It probably should be. Some of the most exciting start-ups include SoundCloud, Aka-Aki, Babbel, Twinity, SongBeat, My City Deal and the recently purchased Dopplr.

OK, it’s been many weeks by now, and things got really busy so I didn’t manage to update this regularly. So here’s a quick run-down on some highlights:

• We’ve started the fairly regular avatar of the day category, just for fun!
• Virtual London grew
• Bob Sutor joined (yes, new members are an everyday thing, but he had nice thoughts on it)
• Some Twinity fixes and updates
• Collada uploading into Twinity is getting more notice
• Dardo photography opened up
• And of course, on a bittersweet note, we welcome new Twinizens, former Therians
