I submitted my article on movie promotion in virtual worlds to the SinoTechBlog, and it got published.

Recently, I wrote a piece that got picked up in iMedia Connection, entitled “Innovative movie promotion in virtual worlds.”

The challenge of advertising in virtual worlds involves taking advantage of their unique features. Here’s how some film companies showcased their movies in one of these worlds.

Our CMO, Mirko Caspar, was recently quoted in an article about startups in Berlin.

Mirko Casper, one of the managing directors at Twinity’s parent company Metaversum, told The Local that living in a poor city such as Berlin sets up people for realistic expectations of success.

“People here were not expecting gold and diamonds earlier and they’re not getting it now,” he said.

We recently entered a partnership with BigPoint, and you can read more about it on Virtual Worlds News and Worlds in Motion. There’s some speculation on what exactly this will look like. All I can right now is that you’ll have to wait a bit to find out.

Metaversum GmbH, developer and operator of the 3D online world Twinity, today entered its public beta phase. At today’s press conference in Berlin, Berlin’s mayor Klaus Wowereit opened the virtual counterpart of Germany’s capital city Berlin in Twinity.
