It’s been a light blogging week for me, since I’ve been catching up after being out for a bit. Here are some of the highlights from the past week:

• Wrapped up my notes from State of Play, including day 4 notes and notes from my session on commercial applications of virtual worlds
• We have a new job in web development (focus on performance and scaling) posted
• Over at Yumondo, we had some new sites distributing invitations, a nice review, and a nice interview with a Yumondo member
• Twinity has been picked up and discussed on a few new sites. You can find out more about it on the Twinity blog.

I’ll be speaking at the ICT Conference in a couple of weeks on “The Next Generation of Online Games: Participation Age and User Generated Content”. This is part of a workshop about Serious Games. Hope to see you there!

The State of Play event is over, and so is the voting:

• No, couldn’t make it: 2

Wish more of you could have made it – the event was great! There were really interesting and nice people to meet there and great information exchanged.

• The biggest news to report this week for Metaversum has been, of course, the State of Play in Singapore.
